Pre-K - 6th Grade
Our small group leaders are committed volunteers that will teach the same age group the entire school year. We believe that consistency builds trusting relationships and that is key to cultivating faith in children. All of our classes include large group time (worship and Bible teaching) as well as small group time where our leaders help children learn how to apply Bible truths in their everyday lives. We offer nursery-8th grade at all three services.
Special Needs Buddy Program available. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 304-363-0190 for more information.
EPIC (7th/8th grades)
South Ridge offers a small group environment for students in the 7th and 8th grade. This group meets after worship during the weekend services.
Students in 5th through 8th grade are also encouraged to join their school Christian Clubs or check out Wyldlife. For more information on Wyldlife in our area follow the link.
The youth group meets on Sunday evenings at the church from 6:00 to 7:30pm to hang out and to seek God together through Bible study. Our goal is to build a strong community of students, who love and are devoted to following Jesus, and who are equipped to live lives that glorify Him. The group is led by Lucas and Hailee Gardner and any high school student is encouraged to attend. For more information contact Lucas at 304-222-9623.
High School students are also encouraged to join their school Christian Clubs and to check out Young Life.
South Ridge Church hosts three Real Marriage Events a year. These events are typically held in January, June, and October, and are specifically designed to help couples take information about marriage and turn it into intimacy and oneness in their relationship.
Community Group & Life Group Studies
SRC Community Groups often discuss the same topic as the Weekend Message. We do our best to offer one Marriage-themed message series a year, providing all Community Groups the opportunity to discuss the subject of marriage in an environment where they can practice accountability, belonging and care. Additional Life Group studies specific for wives, husbands, or couples may be available throughout the year as well. The goal of each group is to help couples apply a selfless, Christ-like love within their marriage.
The heart of the Real Marriage Ministry is in mentoring. Whether a couple is engaged and planning to be married in the months ahead, or they have been married for many years, mentoring is a way to help all couples focus holistically on their relationship.
If you would like additional information about the Real Marriage ministry, please contact Pastor Justin Wright at 304.363.0190.
